Olympic Weight Lifting is one of the oldest modern Olympic sports.
Comprised of the 2 Olympic lifts, the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch, this sport is at the pinnacle of applied human power generation. No other sport moves more weight over a greater distance in less time. No other sport requires the human body to produce more power in a single effort.
For sport and functional human performance Olympic Weightlifting offers huge benefits to the person applying it to their training regime. Barbell training has no equivalent for developing high levels of functional strength and power. Incorporating the most basic and powerful skills, including squats, dead lifts, presses and the Olympic lifts this training will make you functionally stronger and more powerful.
Our Classes are designed to teach in a progressive manner all the drills and skills required to perform and master the 2 Olympic Lifts.
